I cna honestly say that I was very pleased with the debut episode of The Colbert Report. I imagine it will undergo a bit of tweaking here and there, but the Stone Phillips interview was awesome. I'm sure we'll be seeing a book of Colberts made up words out soon enough. I'm also sure it will be most trustigious.

In Consumer Product Watch news, here are some new products I like:

First off, I am digging my new toothbrush. My old Oral B spinny toothbrush lasted about 3 years. This news one spins around and also goes back and forth. Plus, it only takes one battery instead of 2.

Yoplait chocolate yogurt whips are also a low fat way to get your chocolate on. Not very filling, but very sweet and tasty, and with those live acidopholus cultures every body needs.

Ground chicken. It's my new favorite thing. We switched from ground sirloin to ground chicken. You can do all the same stuff with it, but it will be slower to kill you. Hint: sprinkle on plenty of paprika and a hint of salt. For burgers, add some finely chopped onions for moisture. Yummy!

As for me, I got some new dress shirts, underthings, and my last dress I ordered in tha mail. Whee! Now I have a reasonable wardrobe for when I am employed. That will be good, now all I need is a job. My Avon is taking forever to get here. I hate waiting, I should have just paid the damn shipping.

The unrated edition of Land of the Dead comes out today. It's list price is $30, which I surely will not be spending on it. However, Blockbuster won't have unrated ones for sale pre-viewed as far as I know. If anyone sees it for under $20, do let me know.

Plus, do we know what we're going for Halloween yet?

Didn't do much today. Was going to clean the kitchen floor and maybe see a movie. Didn't end up doing either one, although I may later on.

My Avon order came today. I was startled in the difference in color between my cream to powder foundation and my pressed powder, which are supposedly the same shade. The nail polish color I picked out is all wrong for me, so I'm going to have to find someone who likes pink to give it to. Everything else is just fine. I got some new shadow sticks, a few flavored lip glosses, some eye makeup remover and a lipstick. It was all either on clearance or some kind of sale. So I got a ton of stuff for just over $30, and I feel better having some makeups around for when I will need them.

Incredible Shrinking Man is on TV right now. We're watching it and eating a thoroughly sub-par dinner from Mr Spots. I think I'm not going to order from them anymore. The last 2 times, they forgot my fries and this time they remembered but they were cold and gross. They also charged me $3.50 for a strawberry shake made from reconstituted shake mix and with no actual strawberries. We should have just had leftover chinese food. I made some kick ass stir fry yesterday with peanut sauce. It has both shrimp and ground chicken and is really tasty. I'm sure I'll have some around 2am when I'm feeling munchy again.

Decided tomorrow I'm going to go to Best Buy to see what kind of scary movie deals they have. I feel like dropping a few bucks on DVD's, though I might just rent Land of the Dead from Blockbuster and not return it, as per their crazy new policy. Nope, scratch that. I just called and they are only carrying the rated edition. Oh, Zombies...why do you mock me?!? Anyway, Best Buy appears to have it for $16.99, so I'll probably go tomorrow and get it from there. They have High Tension for $19.99 but that is more than I can spend right now. So we'll see.

Anyway, if you're looking for me this weekend, don't. I'll be out of town, enjoying nature and other things which do not involve watching TV. I will, however, bring my computer because being in nature is no reason not to have fly tunes.
