TCBin' Man...
Mar. 24th, 2004 11:40 pmSlept late today, new drugs making me dizzy...what fun.
Went to the movies with
uterdic and
lickingtoad to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Pleased to tell everyone to beleive the hype and see this film. It was damn amazing. Written by charlie Kaufmann whom I have adored since long long ago (not really, just since Adaptation) and directed by Michel Gondry who does all those fab videos.

The film also has a great cast: Kate Winslet as the delightful girl, Kirsten Dunst as the nice girl, Elijah Wood as the creep, Mark Ruffalo as the nice guy, and Jim Carrey as the guy who reminds me of HHB for some reason. And Damn...in case you didn't know, Jim Carrey can act his ass off. Really, for serious. If you've ever been hurt by loving anyone, ever in your life, you need to see this film.
I got a lovely jar of lemon curd and some meyer lemon seeds from the lovely
civil today. I'm going to try to grow my own meyer lemon tree. Thanks, Toots!
Working an extra shift tomorrow to help out with some screening or other. Plus there is that film class that sees a movie with us on Thursday night. We have a lot of cool stuff coming up at the 'Stone. In addition to Premier Pics (which has everything from Russian Tycoons to Astronaut Musicals) we are showing Cabinet of Dr Caligari with a live band. Later on we're having a Troma fest, which will feature the man, Lloyd Kauffman himself. That will be super fab!
H bought me a copy of School of Rock, which I am excited to see. Plus i got a copy of Fangs of the Living Dead AKA: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062957/ and She-Beast AKA: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061005/ with Barbara Steele both on one disk for $3.99. Indeed, it was an incredible find!
