Flying Sharks V Crikey Crocs

Didn't do very much today. Got up around 4 in the pm to record the tag for the Madstone radio spot with Dan. That went fine and took all of an hour with travel time.

TV was serving up the love...taped 2 eps of Simpsons (funny), and Sopranos (still not much happening). Watched The Practice (Spader: Mmmmmm....), then Microcosmos (amazing), then sharks V crocodiles on Discovery (cool). Now Ryan is watching Rhinos V elephants. I bet the Rhinos are kicking ass!

Going to see Dawn of the Dead tomorrow, and hopefully getting the nurse to call me in some meds that my insurance will cover. I've grown rather fond of this whole "staying alive" thing. The regular one...not the John Travolta thing.

Thanks to all who made writing suggestions in my last poll. You had some great ideas, which i'm sure i'll be using some of. I hope none of you are expecting credit as your intellectual property is now mine!

Seriously, DM just called to tell me he saw me on Public access, talking about PotC when that old guy was at Madstone interviewing people. H didn't even see it, because he was in the other room and didn't come out when i started yelling to him. Oh well...I'm locally unfamous and he'll never know. Speaking of Madstone, the new spot with my tag on it started running today. AM listeners, if any, are going to be sick of my voice before you know it, i'm in like, 4 ads by now.

H and I did in fact cab it to the Q16 to see Dawn of the Dead. It was pretty good but not truly great.

In other Wednes News, i wieghed myself today and found that I had stayed the same as last week. That is both tragic and sad. So it seems that my days of loosly following the diet and still losing are over. Now I have to be on it for real and not cheat if I expect to be any healthier...and i do! So tomorrow will be grocery shopping, then back to the business of becoming an even lovelier Wednes than before. Again, I hope you's can handle it!

Principle shooting has begun for HP and the Goblet of Fire, but they havne't released any pics of the actors who've been cast as Cho, Krum or Little Barty Crouch. I look forward to Emma thompson as Sybil Trelawny, especially if she stays around long enough to get sacked!

Return to Blockbuster: The journey Continues...

Went to Bbuster with the roomate to return some stuff and get some new stuff, duh?

First of all, that HOT russian (I think) cab driver was there looking at action films. He was pretty super hot...which makes me wonder what it is about being in ones early 30's that makes 1 in 5 men seem extrememly HOT to me. Anyone know? Maybe I'll ask over in my community, which BTW, is was over 280 members last time i checked.

I bought a proper copy of 28 Days Later in the proper widescreen ratio. I think I may send the other copy to sotik when I get that new package together for him. I also bought Dummy starring my hero Adrien Brody (also very hot), Illeanna Douglass and Milla Jovovich. Then for free I got the NightStalker movie, which I will add to my collection of films from that series. I now have Ed Gein, Dahmer, and Bundy. I didn't buy Gacy, because i'll watch psychswitch's copy before I drop $12 on it. Almost bought Cabin Fever, but not for $14.

I also rented The Devils Backbone http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0256009/ which I hear is awesome. And Dog Day Afternoon since I get a free rental and I freakin' love John Cazale...and the rest of that movie. The young Chris Sarandon as the gay lover of Pacino is inspired.
