Hitchin' up a Hitchin' dress
Oct. 23rd, 2006 08:15 amIt appears that the two most stressful descisions to make for the handfasting are the dress and the location. We're going to check out Cobblestone Farms for the locale, since I hear it is both nice and cheap cost effective. The food will be expensive also, but much less emotionally charged, methinks.
( These are the two dresses I'm currently looking at )
Of course I'll still need "foundation garments" (which is a hilarious term; please, lets all start using it again), a circlet, a besom, and some ballet slippers as they will be both cute and comfortable. I haven't worn any in years, it will be nostalgic to my younger, dancinger days...
H and I looked at rings online. They say to go to a jeweler in the mall or whereever to get sized so you know your proper ring size. But of course H thinks it would be dishonest to waste the salesmen's time by pretending we're going to buy from him. I said that we don't actually know where we're getting the rings yet--they might have something amazing that we can't resist (in a mall-as if!). He cracks me up. He's like Flanders to my Homer.
By the way, I'm going to need an Alpha E to read Corinthians.
Any takers?
