I daresay I've been being productive.

Here's what I've been up to:
--Spending some quality social time with folks (and being treated to Superman Returns again)
--I managed to clean the apartment (including some projectile vomiting from Joey JoJo Junior Shabadoo)
--andcatch up on laundry.
--I took time to organize and type my notes for two novels.
--Edited and keyed in changes for ch's 10-13 (which is hard, I'm not much of a grammarian)
--and did a complete rewrite of ch 14 of my Franklin novel.
--Then I figured out what Hazel is going to do next.
--I reread Harry Potter SS, and spent some QT with H and the cats (I plan to do more of that tomorrow).
--Oh, and I applied for some jobs that I'm actually qualified for. July tends to be my lucky job-getting month. So we shall see!
--Today I made a few new icons and brought some others out of retirement.

I did NOT manage to get to an ATM, or iron out my sleep schedule so I can start taking these sleep pills.

I really wish I had that Young Ones box set. You'd think in this day and age someone could copy it for me in exchange for a sexual favor of some kind. Did I say sexual favor? I meant batch of cookies or perhaps a fancy bread. I'm getting really good at breads.

I daresay I enjoyed Superman Returns more the second time around, although that 3D doesn't seem to agree with me. Brendan Routh is quite nice to look at, and as Weird Al would say, his eyes are bluer than the water in my toilet. I almost find it distracting that he's so good looking. It just makes it that much more ridiculous that people can't tell that Clark Kent is him. After all, a pair of regular glasses isn't much of a disguise. Plus he came back after five years away...mysteriously coinciding with Clark's return from a suspiciously similar absense. Sorry, folks I'm not buying it.
The kid who plays Jimmy Olsen is good too, but the ages of the people seem kind of wrong. Plus, I don't understand how, after Superman II, Lois knows some things and not others. And five years later, Lois looks younger and cuter than Margot Kidder ever did; Perry White is much less drunk and I think he's been working out. I know, I know, Great Ceaser's Ghost! By the way, what does that saying mean? And Jimmy doesn't seem to have grown up much in five years. That fresh faced newbie thing will not play once he's 30--trust me. Then again, he got some sweet pics this movie so he might be ready to hit the big time.
