Cylons, DVD-RW, and empty amrays.
Sep. 13th, 2005 12:13 amWhooo *wipes brow* ! Monday is so busy for Lj, and you people all talk about yourselves too damn much. Anyway, it's Monday and I'm hanging out with H.
Nate, you shouldn't read this post any further. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Since I have my new TV with a rich, full spectrum of color we've been watching more movies. Tonight we saw Perfect Blue from 1997. It was really very good, lots of blood and a truly surprising resolution. The kind of thing that would've been given away much too early had this been an American film.
Speaking of movies, my intro package from Columbia House arrived to my great joy. It sat outside my apartment door all day and no one even stole it, so that was even better. However, one of my DVD amrays had no disc in it. I've never had that happened, ever in my life. So I've Emailed Columbia House to see what they intend to do about it. And now I don't get to watch Wild Things tonight. I also got crisp clean copies of AnchorMan uncut, Old School, Silence of the Lambs coll ed, Hannibal coll ed, American Psycho coll ed, and Zoolander. I frackin' love Zoolander.
Last night I taped, or should I say recorded all the FOX cartoon premeire's on my new DVD-R. It's quite easy to use and does all kinds of cool things. In case you hadn't heard, I got a DVD-R and a bunch of DVD-RW's from
sudrin for my housewarming. Plus, the new eps were funny. heh heh heh...manatees...*snicker*
Speaking of new eps, we watched the new BattleStar Gallactica tonight with Lucy Lawless who is a cylon. Caution, that is a spoiler, so if you didn't know it, you're boned. Anyway, it was a great episode and not the clip show I was kind of half expecting. People still have all manner of substance abuse problems in the future it seems.
