H and I just watched this week's Battlestar Gallactica. That thing was insane.
Plus I love how in the future everyone is pagan and only the evil robots are christian monotheists.

Also, H bought me this awesome thing. It's the Patrick Bateman figure from American Psycho. Squeee!!! He comes with a lot of cool accessories like a nail gun, severed hand and a vdeotape, for returning. But I can't quite see what it says on it, the videotape I mean. I assume it's not "Inside Lydia's Ass" but you never know...
It's really cool but I can't find a good pic of it online. Anyway, it's the 7inch doll and not the huge talking one. That's a little much.

H and I just watched this movie Intermission which was quite excellent. It has cops and love affairs and divorces and robberies and kidnappings and fistfights and wheelchair races and urine. I get my reccomends, plus it has Cillian Murphy, and it you don't know who that is...you need to do a better job keeping up with film. The film also features the actress who plays Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter movies, Collin Farrell, Colm Meany and much, much more!

What I think about the FDA ban on RU486 )

On another crazy unrelated topic, I used to want a machine that could do this since I was a little kid. They used to have them at the movies theatres, before the film came on...this is back in the day when there were no commercials before films. But I didn't know they really made them for regular people to buy. Even though I would probably never spend on this, it's awfully cool to know it's there if I ever want one.

Who's a Terrorist?

Like most people with a brain in their head, I despise the Patriot Act. When people attempted to convince me of how great it was, I'd remind them that there are people who think Planned Parenthood is a terrorist organization. While I will concede that sometimes some advocacy groups do verge on the edge of what one might call terrorism...like say animal rights groups trashing labs and whatnot. But I'm really not into peaceful groups being monitored as if they are harboring WMD's or something.

Can I just remind everyone that Osama Bin Laden was never even brought in for questioning?
Does anyone really think he might be hiding at the University of Michigan?

I didn't think so.

You Passed the US Citizenship Test

Congratulations - you got 10 out of 10 correct!

I've decided what I'm looking for in a new cat, in case one of you spots it somewhere.

1. Female
2. Between 1-3 years old
3. Playful but not attention starved
4. Spayed and shots up to date
5. This is optional, but I'd love one of those grey tabby's, they are so pretty.
6. Free or exceptionally affordable

EDIT it should also have at least front claws. I don't beleive in declawing and she'll need claws to battle the mighty Pentelope.
