I've been getting pretty antsy because the guy from Q16 still hasn't called me to give me a job. As such, I set up an interview at FYE so I can go on at least one interview this wek. Well, tonight he finally called me, and I'm catching up with him tomorrow after my FYE interview.

I want this job really bad. It's full time, it pays well and would be hella fun.
Well, it will be probably 2/3rds as fun as Madstone, which would still be pretty good.

Wish me luck!

And as if my day could get no better, they played Young Ones on BBC tonight.
Sweet!

I finally saw this amazing films about the notorious Papin Sisters.

It was awesome, and I am thinking about telling Blockbuster I lost it and need to pay for it; and would they happen to have the cover box lying around.

The lead actress Sylvie Testud gives a heart wrenching portrayal of a proud, intelligent, passionate woman forced into servitude by her, well...dirty whore of a mother. Her protective nature over her sisters and strong dislike for being treated like garbage form the basis of what will surely end in tragedy. You could say its the French's answer to Heavenly Creatures, as both films share a similar theme and have great looking gals falling in lust with eachother.

This movie will bring out the lesbian in you...unless you are [livejournal.com profile] madush69 : The Worlds Striaghtest Man.
(also, thanks for the gourmet goodies you brought over, Dan. You rule)

In other news, I can't seem to locate my VHS copy of To Die For. If I loaned it to you, do let me know as I'm going crazy trying to figure out where it could be. Or in the alternative, give it back!

Also, sorry I didn't get your call Annie. But I do plan to make the zoo trip if I am not already working.
