Trappers VS Diggers
Jun. 25th, 2004 09:17 amHappily, I have finally been invited to a job interview. This is for an entry level Customer Service gig at DOC in the mall. It would be very convenient to be back working at Briarwood, especially since we chose this apartment for its mall-adjacentcy (yes, I made up a word-- sue me). Anyway, I'll be seeing what they have to offer at noon on Saturday.
We watched Cannibal the Musical last night. It was hilarious, and far and away the best Troma film. I daresay it reminded me very much of a Monkey and a Typewriter presentation. Funny, musical, and looking like it was made with the change someone found under thier couch. In case you don't know, it it Trey Parkers telling of Alfred Packer's story. He is, of course, a famous accused cannibal from the olden days.
Still having the waffle bar/birthday for Russell gathering on Saturday night. That will be fun, although I am bummed that certain people will be missing. I wish I could do something to help Kassy, but I have no idea what would help so I'm doing nothing.
As for Final Draft, it seems that students can buy the new version of it for $119. If I can find a student to pick it up for me, I may well ask H to get it for my birthday early. I imagine we can afford it once I get back to work, although it would be super swell to be able to use the one I have. I am told that a team of experts from the university is dealing with the situation. Sweeeeet!
