Ah yes...this wonderful time when people of all races and religions gather to share thier love of Jesus Christ. Not me though. Frankly, I can't rememebr that guy remembering MY birthday even once.

Although, if I were the sort of person who beleived gifts equalled love, I'd be feeling pretty loved right about now.
H and I waitied until midnight to open gifts. I gave him Max Payne 2 and SSX3 of the PS2, and that super LotR FotR box set with a zillion discs. Plus he got an A-team Tshirt, some candy, a Tom Clancy book, and this candy thing that is a punching extend-0-glove that goes "boing" when you play with it.

H got me this cool massager thing (for my back, you perverts!), season one of The Dead Zone which I have wanted freaking forever. And to quote my fave ben Stiller movie "Waffle MAAAAAN the WAFFLER!!! Gold and Crispy bad guys are histry....."
Yeah, i got a Hamilton beech waffler that makes thick or thin waffles depending on if you flip it over or not. It's bad ass!

I was going to make a cake for work, but now I may just make a batch of waffles with cool fruits in them.

EDIT: made some waffles. Pretty yummy bit I'll have to figure out some tasty batter recipes. And this massage thingy H got me is what I think they call a Spinemelter 2000. It rocks the house...I've never been so pain free. And it does all kinds of cool stuff.

My crappy little elf name is Sheeplass Forestwick.
What's yours?
Powered by Rum and Monkey.

My my my, it's been a swell evening of eating waffles, watching Dead Zone and giving myself a back rub with my Spinemelter 2000.

It's some good stuff right there.
I also made a cake for my beloved co-workers made of cranberries, apple butter, almonds and a bunch of other christmassy hoo ha.

And I talked to my ex-crush...poor sap that he is. And [livejournal.com profile] derekfz who is just...just great. Plus H's fam sent me a package of high end lotions and soaps and stuff. It's awesome, made of some kind of sea parsely and salt or something. The lotion absorbs quickly and smells really good. It's actually more like a gel than a lotion, but I don't suppose anyone but me would care about that...

At work today starts Peter Pan, Cold Mountain, Lost in Translation (actually that's tomorrow) and we also still have Mystic River, Last Samurai, Mona Lisa smile, and Christmas Story, We also brought back Master and Commander. it is pretty rare for us to bring back films after they've left. so far i can only think of chicago, finding nemo and Spirited Away. They all did pretty well though...

It's a holiday of some kind...oh that's right, Jews go to the movies day.
Okay, that's not MY joke, it belongs to the great Jon Stewart.

I am at work though, and the company has graciously offered to buy us all dinner. I'm supposed to be finding a restaurant that's open, and I totally can't find one.

But...my Hot Hot Boss is here for some reason, probably because I was looking too focused.
He says he didn't get any good gifts. But I can't tell if he's just being evasive.

I convinced the bosses to turn off the crappy xmas music by reminding them of how many Jews were here. I dont' really know if there were or not, I don't have that unique gift of guessing someones faith based on appearance. But it'd be cool if I did.

If you're in town, come by the mall, I'm lonesome for you's.

Gods, this work day is endless!

The trailer for the Spongebob Squarepants movie is quite cool looking.
I think I will see it, you know...if I live that long.

It's really cold in here.

We had food from some divey chinese place reccomended by [livejournal.com profile] madush69. It was adequate, and I did not have to pay for it. Happily, my Xmas bonus consisted of broccali, chicken and fried rice.

More happily, HHB did not stay very long today...just thru the first set. It's sad to think of him here and not having anything cool to do on the holiday.
Of course, my plan is to go home and have linguine with chili on it with H. That's not super cool, but its pretty cool that someone is at home waiting for me to get there. I think he wants to watch the Dracula DVD I got him for Xmas. I don't know if I'll feel like it. I've already seen Keanu Reeves in like, 3 movies this year. That is more than enough, methinks.

Ewww...I just remembered I have to walk that dang dog in the cold. Dogs don't seem to notice when it is rainy, cold or slippery. They should develop the good sense to stay inside like cats. I've been looking for cat houses online. Well, not CAThouses mind you, but little houses for cats to scratch up and hide in and stuff. Anyone know where is a good place to find reasonably priced cat stuff? My roomate is helping me pay for it in exchange for the terrible cold I'm going to get walking the dog in my pajamas.
(dress warmly to walk the dog you say? What, pray, would I complain about then???)
