Jobs and less jobs...

Alright friends, I have done my phone interview with the good folks at the nursery and crafts store. Now I have to go thru a big packet of paperwork so I can bring it with me to the tough interview. That is with the store manager and the district manager. I must say though, I have a good philosophy about retail that doesn't always manifest itself in my work. But at the interveiw, it sounds swell. If you didn't know me, you'd swear I was one of these bright, young go-getter types. Or not.

But I'm also going to try a few more places, as Nursery and Craft-land sound slike they want to delve deep into my personal history. That does not always bode well.

I still have plenty of time to work on some great killing stories, maybe when I get a whole bunch of them, I can employ an artist and bring back Night Gallery. Wouldn't that be an act of sheer genuis? I agree.

I know I complain about this alot...

I was over at google looking for a pic of Mr Limpet (the Don Knotts movie where he turns into a cartoon fish and helps the navy find enemy subs for to blow them up). What did I come across but a Mr Limpet movie poster that claims to be starring Jim Carrey. And who's directing? Mike Judge, I tell ya whut.

I don't know whether to turn away in disgust or...um...think of some other action to take. Remakes of Mr Limpet, Salems Lot and Willard all in one year? I'm pretty sure the apocalypse is coming.

Shopping list:
Battery radio/flashlight combo
Weed, and some more weed, pain pills and weed
Fresh water and kool aid mix (or crystal light if you prefer)
assorted weaponry

I'm off to pillage!
