I was over at google looking for a pic of Mr Limpet (the Don Knotts movie where he turns into a cartoon fish and helps the navy find enemy subs for to blow them up). What did I come across but a Mr Limpet movie poster that claims to be starring Jim Carrey. And who's directing? Mike Judge, I tell ya whut.

I don't know whether to turn away in disgust or...um...think of some other action to take. Remakes of Mr Limpet, Salems Lot and Willard all in one year? I'm pretty sure the apocalypse is coming.

Shopping list:
Battery radio/flashlight combo
Weed, and some more weed, pain pills and weed
Fresh water and kool aid mix (or crystal light if you prefer)
assorted weaponry

They are doing a lot of remakes this year. I'm excited about Mr. Deeds because I love that movie! I kind of like remakes... it is fun to see someone else's spin on something... even if it does end up blowing.

Are you fucking serious. That has got to be on my list of movies never to remake, along with Ice Castles and Never Ending Story part 3(because nothing will ever top part 3). If anything should be remade it's Chips 99', the most over looked TV movie of all time. Jim Carrey would be perfect for it. I'm laughing just thinking about it. And I shit on my toothbrush. Because I couldn't find a cat to wipe with.

Actually, I feel that many many remakes of the past 10 years should ahve been aborted.

Mr. Limpet was a good flic (I thought) when I was a kid, but I don't think the uS is really ready for a strong military subplot. And Don Knotts is just a funny guy, not like Jim Carrey, who is only good when he is somewhat serious. I don't mean sappy serious, but like: Cable Guy serious.

It ruled when JW was on the Simpsons as well...himself basically.

He is one of the few people whom I've seen all of his films. The line "I blew Richard Speck" is one of the finest in cinema history.

No I live in Tempe. My favorite conversation from a Waters film was the one in Serial Mom between Mathiew Lillard and the old woman in the video store arguing about Bill Cosby movies. Fucking great.
