Work is going fine, except it's distracting as hell to have to sit next to the hottest guy in the office all day. He's got one of those low, sexy voices too. I was telling H that I have another work-crush. He just rolled his eyes at me.
Pretty soon I'll be up for my 30 day review, at which point I'll find out how they think I'm doing. Hopefully I'll be able to get trained for the next level of customer care, doing returns and stuff. I could stand to relax a little about the whole work thing. I keep being worried that I'm gonna get fired or otherwise fuck this up. The money is pretty good and the job itself is wholly tolerable. I even had time to jot down some short story/narrative ideas in between calls.

Speaking of writing, I haven't posted a new chapter in over two weeks. I know. I suck. I don't really know how the fire and death of his ex wife has changed my character. He's a sociopath, so probably not at all...but that won't stop him from bitching about it like it's the end of the fucking world. Plus he's still gotta build the "aquarium" for the girl. Oooooh, scary.
Still though, I think I need to punch out some short stories and narratives before I do anything else. I'm feeling somewhat inspired. ;-]
