We have internet access again, our own I mean. So now I am able to be online from the comfort of my Global Command Centre (which is this cool shelfy thing I got from
psychswitch).
H and I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory finally. It was really quite good. Although I would like to remind all parents that if your child is unable to understand that you have to be quiet while the movie is playing, that they are not yet old enough to go to the movies. There is really no excuse for taking tiny kids to the movies anymore...because they have movies specifically for kids that age. And for god's sake, turn your fucking cell phones off. Even using them silently is like shining a flashlight around in the theatre. It's very disturbing. While I was at the theatre, I saw Scott from the Madstone who asked me how I liked Devil's Rejects. Imagine my embarassment at not having seen it yet.
I applied to work at the Michigan Theatre. This time I did not even rate an interview. Dang.
Received a nice note from the doctor who treated Clarence. Normally I hang nice notes up on my buletin board, but I don't really think that's appropriate in this case.
Also, I had mentioned that we might not have a housewarming party. But we have decided to go ahead and have one, since life goes on and all that. We're not really celebrating the move so much as celebrating friendships and all the other things that make life good.
As for the writing, I'm kinf of taking a break from the current novel since Clarence was a major character in it. I may get started on my story where H is the leader of an elite cadre of vigilanties. I guess I just haven't decided why such a story needs telling, aside from my fascination with the idea.
