Clarence Pt 2
Aug. 1st, 2005 11:07 pmI got Clarence some Petromalt which is supposed to help her with her hairball, if indeed that is what is making her feel so bad. She didn't even want to lick it off her own paw, which is odd because she is usually a very clean cat. Her nose is cold but it's kind of dry. I know she used to drink out of the toilet a lot and now we're keeping the lid down. She's eating and drinking without my prodding her right now. So I'm hoping for the best.
I'm going to give her some more tomorrow and hope for the best. If she does not get better soon, she's going to Ann Arbor Cat Clinic as my friend has an account there and has offered to let me use it. What a cool gal!
In other news, my other buddy came over and showed me how to fix the garbage disposal. All it needed was a single turn with this bendy allen wrench thingy, which I now have. I imagine I will fix the slow drain in the bathroom sink and also the broken light plate in the bedroom. Then only the microwave and the security door will actually need to be fixed by maintenance.
Tomorrow we are putting up posters and putting pictures in frames. I got some good frames at Dollar Tree. I'm also going to set up my altar and finish arranging the bedroom. Although I might set up the altar tonight so I can light a candle to Bast before I go to sleep.
The last room to arrange is the office, which is the smallest non-bathroom room. But finally we are almost done unpacking. That's a huge load off my mind. I'll finally be able to get back to writing. Also, I miss cable and reliable internet access. But mainly I miss writing.
