We got the apartment, because of H's frugal money handling.

We are paying a $1100 security deposit.

Sheesh

Here's the floorplan. It's the 2 bedroom one bath one.

Also, Dave Overstreet is here having lunch with us.
(and he got us a DVD burner we can hook up to the TV)

Damn, I'm it again!

Seems I've been tagged to do that meme where you post five songs you listen to a lot right now. Or to quote the meme "five songs I've been digging on". I'm so freakin' hip.

I'm going to do said meme because I'm a good sport, but I'm not tagging anyone else. The proliferation of memes in the last month or so on LJ has been as pervasive as it's been unwelcome. Well, maybe unwelcome is too strong a word but memes are good rather than great. And too many memes is just boring.

While I'm here, luscious thanks to all of you who sent congrats and well wishes on the place. You all rock, and it's gratifying and touching that so many of you take an interest in my happiness. I have big plans for this new apartment. And I'm leaning toward setting myself up with a new acquarium so's I can invest in another snake. Don't worry, I'm getting a nice one this time. I'm thinking probably a red tail boa, but maybe something smaller.
