Put the chile's in the chili please...

Made some chili tonight with a few tips I learned from my main man, Alton Brown. I love that guy, and it turns out that beer is good in chili...who knew?

Also watched NotLD in color, with H. It was laughably terrible. With the colorization everything looked not only like it was the middle of the afternoon (sensible--if you know anything about how it was filmed). I just think the problem with colorization technology is that it isn't put to good use. You could desaturate and add in color later to create an awesome, moody peice. But in this case, it just looks like the hosue is full of brand new furniture, everything looks clean and fresh and bright...not at all what George would have done if he'd had color at the time. It's really terrible to look at, but the DVD also has the B&W version, and some great vintage trailers. Woo Hoo!

Plus you know...that movie has a black guy in it...
