Plymptoons Aplenty

If any of you have the Sundance Channel, do be on the lookout for these gems...these sheer and utter cinematic delights: that's right children I refer tot he work of one Bill Plympton. They are showing Mondo Plympton, which is a collection of shorts, plus The Tune which is damn trippy, and i think some of the Mutant Alien stuff as well. Man...that guy is a genius!
We met one of our neighbors tonight as he was locked out of his apartment. He hung out and watched TV with us for like, 3 hours or something. He was blown away by our awesome television choices...it being Sunday ngiht and all: Simpsons, Sopranos, the Practice. Good stuff. But I think Ellenor might have killed Rebecca DeMornay.
I've also been pondering humanity again. I hate that. I am thinking about how ultimately, everything people do is self serving in some way. Everything I do...I mean think of stuff you don't like to do: going to work when you really don't want to. Myself, i pretend I'm being a stand up guy and being there for my team, when really I just dont' want to deal with the crap i would face if I didn't go in. Actually, its' true that I care enough about my co-workers not to screw them over like that; but perhaps that's because I appreciate how important it is to have good friends and to be thought of as reliable. Even people who give things up for thier families or whoever, and they seem so selfless. But people do all kinds of crazy and horrible things in the name of others and that doesn't always make them less selfless. okay, perhaps I am rambling here. I shall stop.
You know what else though, I have alwasy considered myself to be a very open, outspoken person with no realyh communication issues...except maybe being a bit TOO vocal at times. But truthfully, I'm not so much. I'm very good at telling people what I THINK; but not so good at saying what I FEEL. i'm not trying to get into a mushy girly thing or anything, but that is kind of important.

I have to go to the big dumb stupid doctor at 11 o'clock in the stupid morning tomorrow. and I don't stupid want to. But I have to, so i can not die or whatever. See, I'm doing something i don't want to out of sheer self preservation. If I can't control my blood pressure, I will die before I am as renound as I should be...before I ahve written something that will terrify horrorfans everywhere, and will be made into a movie by the Japanese.
