In case you live under a rock, a rather large movie opened this week. For those of us who work in a very small theatre, we have been getting mercilessly thwomped by Christians and our regular customers for 4 straight days. We are all working extra shifts, and dealing with many more people than usual.

Well, tonight I'm sorry to tell you that it has taken its toll on us. My favorite part of work is the great staff and how much we all get along. And by the end of the night people were screaming at eachother, crying, walking out...and just generally losing thier goddamn minds; myself included.

I've been home for hours and I still can't relax, despite being higher than I've been all week (shout out to a special buddy for THAT!). I'm tired of work, I'm tired of getting bossed around and treated rudely by young kids whom I have senority over and who are not management. The whole thing makes me feel very snarky and sad...because you all know I love my job so well.

I imagine we'll have some kind of meeting this week, where bitching about work can further monopolize my free time. I'm so damn tired and I can't seem to sleep. Although, I guess I haven't actually tried.

Nggghhaahhh!

While I don't want to be one of those chumps who makes 3 paragraph posts about a dream they had; I will mention that I had a dream which made me think of some things. I often forget to live life to the fullest. I desperately need to be doing things I feel passionately about.

I had the idea that doing a random act of kindness might put me in a better mood. So I selected the most deserving person i could think of, and bought them a cool gift. First i took a cab to the mall, then off to Hot Topic to pick out a cool T-shirt. But they didn't have "just the right thing".

So...to Walden Books, where again, I had some trouble deciding. Plus some guy kept following me around, trying to talk about essential oils. Finally I chose James and the Giant Peach, and The Giving Tree. Because those are excellent, "Katinka" really liked them.

I was going to see a movie, but I just didn't feel like it. I felt sort of tired and cranky, plus I was mad that I woke up so early after planning to sleep all day. I mean, its my only day this week i don't have to get up for something and i was wide awake after only 5 hours of sleep. That is no freaking fair!

H just went to Subway to get me a chicken fajita wrap. After I eat it, I think I'll take a nap.
Also, I need to make a plan to stat writing every day...not including LJ.
So starting tomorrow, I will write 2 pages or 2 hours every sinlge day except Sautrday, when I work a double. We'll see how it goes.
