Six of us Madstoners went out last night with hideous zombie make ups handing out flyers to promote our scary film...
The scary film in question, NotLD '90 had exactly one paid customer last night, who had no interest in winning a prize. So that kind of sucked.
Luckily, walking the streets of A2 in zombie make up in the middle of the night is enormously fun. We took lots of pics, so expect to see some grotesque new Userpics from me fairly soon. Turns out, I'm still reasonably good with theatrical make ups. Yay for me!
The Rocky Horror crowd at the State theatre last night was High-Larious! Except this homeless guy kept bumping into me and reaching across my chest for more flyers. I couldn't tell if he was trying to feel me up or steal my wallet, so i kept checking my pockets the whole time.
After a long day of having fun, some guest came by with, beleive it or not, whippets! I had not done them in many, many moons and I confess they were quite a blast. See, I have this Fix-me-Frank doll from Fisher Price...like, "My first horror accessory" or whatever. And when you lift up the head, you'll see that I have lovingly placed a whippet cracker and some balloons. Drugs are bad, BTW.
Anyway, H and I are shooting with Dan and Dan tomorrow. So I guess my make up kit will have another busy day.
I love this time of year!!!
