More stuff from today:

Went to the costume shoppe with my buddy Steve to get my halloween make-ups. Spent $75 on a Ben Nye kit, some extra colors (including the coveted "monster wheel"), some glitter, a fan brush and one of those cellophane fortune telling fish that brought back a flood of memories when I saw it at Fantasy Attic. It's a red cut out of a cellophane fish, and when you put it in the palm of your hand, it bends and does stuff, which you read to tell your "future" or your "mood". Yes, it's very silly but I distinctly remember my Grandpa getting me and my brothers one when we were little. i talk a lot about how my family sucks, but let me assure you all, I had 3 of the coolest Grandfathers a gal could ever wish for.

Anyway, H took me to Olive Garden...we could have gone to Outback but i was in the mood for pasta. There was a totally loud, obnoxious profane group next to us for out whole meal. When we arrived, they were finishing dessert, but still they remained, yapping and arguing over the check and swearing and talking super loud. it was annoying as hell, so I got dessert to go and we came home. The lemon creme cake is fab.

Having spent my TCM money on make ups, we did not yet go to the film. Turns out, H didn't really want to see it, so I'm going to see if Crankypants wants to see it tomorrow, since he needs to get back into my good graces if he knows what's good for him...

Also, if you get near those inside out Reece's cups, do have one. They are unique and tasty, and availible for a limited time...

Operation Hoiven Maven:

Went to the mall to begin to arduous task of making hundreds of lollipop ghosts for the huge halloween prize giveaway at work. it's going to be super, duper fun. Talked to my Hot Hot Boss today, and for whatever reason seemed more professional than Hot. Odd...
Took H to dinner at Aloha grille where i was invited into the kitchen for the first time ever. They are going to start advirtisting at the theatre and it's going to work out well for all concerned...so I'm glad of that.

Turns out I have no more health insurance so i can't actually get my tests until I have some. Had to get my prescription filled out of pocket which was a drag...yet less than i've been spending on make ups lately. Good news is I can renew my drivers lisence in the mail. You know, for all that driving i do...

Also walked around hot Topic looking for halloween stuff. That place is pretty funny, and the kids who shop there are funny too.

I couldn't find an avon store, although i was sure they had a kioske. i need something to sharpen the make up pencils i bought from therm that are dull now. They are great colors but I can't use them, and since I'm putting together a make-up kit to rival SNL, I'll need all the cool stuff I have at my disposal. Bwah hahahahaha!
