Which Simpsons Character Are You?(Pictures Included!)
brought to you by Quizilla

Went to the mall on my day off, pretty lame I know.

Did some Christmas shopping including getting American Gods for H, along with a Frodo figure and the Orc leader guy figure. I think he's also going to get Final Fantasy X-2, which he will like. I was going to get him that video game playing phone thing that's like, $300, but he claims to not want one.

I got myself another Harry Potter figure, this one has a cauldron and some slimy stuff with it. I also picked up the newest Harriet Goldhor-Lerner book. I enjoy her work very much, so I'm excited to start reading it. And I picked up some Halloween related Mad Libs, as I am hosting the spooky party this year.

Also watched Mystic River, which I enjoyed despite knowing all of the plot twists. Good performaces, excellent direction by Mr Eastwood. Kevin Bacon is awfully good at playing The Cop, and Tim Robbins's character is unlike anything I've seen from him before. Sean Penn is awesome, and Laurence Fishburne as a guy named "Whitey"...well, its "le mou jouste" if that's how you spell that. The camera work is outstanding, and Eastwood makes some bold directing choices, most of which I think worked very well. The contrast in the two female supporting (Laura Linney, Marcia Gay Harden) characters was gripping, even shocking at times. I bet this film will get nominated for some awards, and Dennis Lehane's name will be on everyones lips. Funny thing, I was only moderately impressed with that book to begin with.

Still havent' gotten hooked up, which is rather sad. Hopefully it will work out for me tomorrow, I'd hate to go all freakin' weekend without; especially since I'll be here all alone for most of the weekend when I'm not working.

ooh, my chicken fajitas are here, gotta go!
