Rambling about virtually nothing
Aug. 2nd, 2003 02:27 pmI'm at work right now, sitting at my desk. Actually, this is the best I've felt all week. Moving is such a frustrating, swearful hassle. I still can't walk around my own living room or unpack any of the things that makes my pad a home. Hopefully I can do that this week. Currently, I'm enjoying the space here at the mall, and the complete and utter absence of dog hair.
Still trying to hook up without success. Let's hope all the hookup folks are not taking the weekend off, like the guys who fix movie projectors. Not like I "need" to hook up, but I do feel I deserve it. Speaking of treats I deserve, I got myself an all natural nail and cuticle kit with this cool file that makes my nails shiny without having to put stupid polish on them. It came with this yummy lotion that says it smells like the ocean. I don't think it smells like pollution and dying sea creatures at all...it's aromatherariffic.
Watched Dee Sniders Strangeland on cable last night (so I guess a few Wednes accoutrements are hooked up after all) and was suprised to see that it did not suck. It wasn't great or anything, but had a neat story, some cool surprises and a bunch of nude people getting tortured. I wish I could see Dee Snider in Godspell.
My Hot Hot Boss is sick. He looks like crap, in fact. That is very sad, as checking out his Hotness has become the hilight of my week. I can't begin to tell you how sad that is. We have cherry coke at work finally, though I don't hink the line was run thru all the way, because mine tastes like root beer. I am not a great fan of root beer. But at least I have my Nalgene bottle today. Also, the virtual coaster next door is gone. Thank heavens.
H and Ryan are hopefully going to move around some furniture today. I'm having guests later and look forward to offering them a place to sit down.
