Sir Graves Ghastly intro

Who remembers when TV looked like this?

So I am compelled to mention, once again, that Sir Graves Ghastly (or Lawson Demming for you slags who have to know everybody's real name...as if The Rock is going to answer your fan mail if you call him Dwayne) is the reason I love horror. I raced home from outside every Saturday to watch him and the dancing skeletons and see the pictures fans sent it, and hear all the terrible, terrible singing. Watching Sir Graves, and hearing him wish me a happy birthday every year, was one of the greatest joys of my own childhood. He always said I had a cute name.

Come to think of it, he probably doesn't know I'm turning 35 next month. I'd better write and tell him.

The movies played on the show ranged from not so bad to horrible. Plus that was how I saw the original King Kong, The Blob, I was a Teenage Werewolf, and that one movie about the lady who turns into a snake. Still having been a bit too young to see Jaws, I thought that stuff was damn scary.

While I'm on the subject of Jaws, it has come to my attention that one or more of you have never seen this movie in it's entirety. Consider this mention an enormous WTF as well as a plea to sit down and watch it before you watch another thing. So scary...
And please, now that I've posted this I do not want 30 of you to comment and assure me that you've seen Jaws. If you've seen it, I'm obviously not referring to you.

That said, the website actually has video clips of the old shows, including some mail bag stuff. When I was in 1st grade, I sent him a huge ceramic skull which was also a bank. He opened it on the air, and for a week, I was the coolest horror fan anyone in my street had ever heard of. Man...what i wouldn't give to see that again.

Anyway, if anyone can figure out how to make these clips play (some sort of non-apple thing perhaps) and can burn them to a disc for me, I'll surely do something nice for you in return.

This was barely worth my time, as you guys suck this year.
