When there's no more room in Hell, the dead shall walk the Earth.
I was telling this to someone today whom frankly, I thought already knew. i thought everyone knew this about me, but perhaps no. So I'm mentioning it again...
"Yeah, I think zombies are scary as shit, they are my number one fear.
When I move to a new town, I arrange a zombie contingency plan...I get a map and mark down all the hospitals and cemetaries and high risk areas. Then I map where the gun dealerships are and where there will be ammo (not at the Kmart by me...thanks Michael Moore...).
As it stands, me and H and Chris & Paul, Jazz & Joy will all be holding up at the bowling alley (no windows)."
Yes, that's right. I have an irrational fear of the zombie holocaust. I have been writing about it for over 20 years, which is interesting, because I'm not really that old. This fear has everything to do with films and researched lore, and not with my spiritual beleifs or anything tangible.
It's just a crazy, irrational fear that causes me to be prepared for an attack of zombies, so I won't have to commit ghastly suicide if they ever do come. In fact, this fear is the only reason I ever learned how to fire a gun.
Again, I thought I'd mentioned this before...I wasn't trying to keep it from anyone.

Re:
Actually, I know much of that info on rotting corpses, as I had some nurses help me do research for a zombie story I wrote long ago. I used to know this nurse named Finster, he lives in California now.
Your biggest problem in a zombie holocaust will be the recently dead, they'll be pretty fast. And hospitals will be especially dangerous. My theory is that zombies will not want to go to cemetaries because they will not like to be around unanimated corpses.
Just a theory...
