I need a Dexter icon plz
Another Monday is upon us. I could NOT fall asleep at a reasonable hour to save my life last night. 3:30am and still annoyingly awake. Sucktacular, as I am 9-5 today and tomorrow. It's getting cooler out, so it's even more difficult than usual to drag my ass out of bed. Work is slowing down now as it's that short break we get between back-to-school and gift-giving season. So that is nice. I'm also training someone for roughly half of my shift today. Tomorrow we begin customer care web chat. Hopefully that will be more fun than it sounds.
This DW journal is kind of sad looking. Not many fans have followed me here from LJ, so it looks like no one is commenting here. No big whoop, really. It just looks kinda funny.
Thinking of having people over on Thursday to watch Farmhouse which I bought over the summer and still haven't watched. I only know a few horror fans who would be into this one, so I'm hoping they will be free to pop by for a viewing.
Signing on Saturday at my alma mater, Olivet College. They want me to be there at 8am, which sounds flippin' impossible and also fruitless. Who the hell is going to be at a book signing at 8 o'clock in the goddamn morning? I told my contact that my assistant and I will be leaving Ann Arbor at 7am and we'll get there when we get there. I think that's fair considering I had to buy my own books for this event, and the bookstore is not even loaning us their credit card system so I can only take cash. Aside from my book release party, most of my book events have been pretty ghetto. My new bookmarks are nice though, and I got sliver tassels for them.
Almost done with season 4 of Dexter. Some asshat was kind enough to spoil me for the big event in the finale. There are only 2 more eps in the season to watch, and I honestly have not seen it coming yet. I really hope I get the Dexter figures for my birthday or Xmas this year. They should be easy to find as Toys backwards R Us has them. Hung has lost a lot of its allure this season. I guess Thomas Jane being hot and hung is NOT enough to carry a whole series. I'll be glad when Big Love comes back. *sigh* Bill Paxton...
