Albums of long ago:
I was talking about my old album collection (the vinyl kind--spin the black circle-if you will). I miss some of them very much.
I had what I think was the first version of Disneys' Chilling Thrilling Sounds of a Haunted House. it has scary sound effects on one side. The other side had this chick narrating stories over the sound effects the stories seemed very scary then but I'd have to hear them again to say if they hold up well.
Then there were various chipmunk albums. I had Chipmunk Punk which came out in the early 80's and was ol' Mr Seville belting out Blondie's Call Me and Benetar's Hit Me With Your Best Shot. I also had a 60's copy of Around the World with the Chipmunks. This one has the chipmunks and Dave touring the world and singing the Christmas sone, and some stuff about Gondolas. Good listenin'
I also miss: Alice Coopers Billion Dollar Babies, Sgt Pepper, More of the Monkees, Jethro Tulls Aqualung and Songs from the Wood, and Thick as a Brick (which I actually had on 8-track...it sucked in tha format), and CSN&Y's Deja Vu.
What album from your past do you no longer have and miss terribly? I bet there are some great stories surrounding these.

My album picks
I know for my Dad, it is the Beatles White Album on vinal. When I was like 2, I stepped on it and broke it. Wish I could have that one back, because someday his collection will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine. Pretty morbid, huh?
As for myself, wow, I've lost alot of cool stuff over the years. I used to have a great 45 collection with all kinds of good stuff, next time I'm at the parent's house, I'll have to look around for them. I also used to have a couple of really good CD's that I loaned out and never got back, and totally forgot who has what. Things like Zepplin albums, Firesign Theater, and probably a list as long as my arm that I can't call to mind right now.
PS. I also had Disco Superman, an original copy of Thriller (sporting pictures of Jacko on both sides of the actual record, which was really cool), and some really strange Disney stuff. Alas, they are all gone now. Poor Pak-man. Oh well.
Re: My album picks
No, that doesn't sound right. Um...
Uh...You rock Paul!
Yes, much better...
ablums
a 45 of "The Banana Splits"
my mom's old "Abba" and "Fleetwood Mac" albums.
I was six years-old, tearing around the house, singing along to "Waterloo" at the top of my lungs.

Re:
If you ever want to rob my parents house and get it, I'll be glad to play it for you.
Be warned, they are evil overlords, except in a really uneducated way.
