Of course H designed our card this year, yet again. We printed it on green card stock so it is most festive. In the mail today I got a package from my friend in Afghanistan. He sent me a beautiful scarf and a kickass incense burner, the likes of which I have never seen before. I'm pretty sure there's a sacred cow on it. It's neat!

And my phone company Credo Mobile sent me a sweet solar charger for my phone that arrived today. We got some lovely cards from people, and my packages reached their intended targets on time. Yay FedEx! Sadly, they are showing Miracle on 34th Street and It's a Wonderful Life at the same time tonight, so I'll have to watch one and DVR the other for watching tomorrow. I really do love both of those movies and tend to watch them every year. Later, I'll be making H a marzipan cake with a chocolate ganache and some cool wHip. Marzipan cake is H's fave. Rightly so, as it's easily the tastiest cake EVER in the world.

Tomorrow Sara and I are gonna pop in on Cindy with some cookies and festive stuff. Then hang around here for homemade alfredo pasta and possibly some bread from the breadmaker. Mmmmmm...comfort food. H and I will trade gifts in the morning and spend the day being lazy and hoping I don't have to go to work on Saturday. But I may have to work 9-5 if my co worker gets snowed in.
