Before I go to bed, I shall post
You'll be delighted to know that I am feeling much better. Without going into lengthy and vivid detail, I no longer will need the CT that they are scheduling me for. I went to the doc and she gave me something to um...relax my insides and some NSAIDs for pain. I felt better almost immediately and by this afternoon I felt basically fine. Yay!
LOST was quite good this week. It's so cool how much the plot is advancing. I knew, of course, that Jin was alive. The producers told us as much before the season premiere. Plus LOST has a nasty habit of putting everyone's names in the opening credits, so you'll know if say, Ethan is going to suddenly appear.
Of course this did not apply to the much younger actress who played the pregnant Rousseau. I figured it was them as soon as I saw the French writing on the wreckage. I'm smart like that. ;-] I hope they spend a little time with them so we can find out if they mysterious disease that killed them has anything to do with the smoke monster. I'm quite anxious to find out what's up with the smoke monster.
So we're all set up to see if Sun is going to avenge still-alive Jin by killing Jack and/or Ben. I can't imagine that she will kill anyone, though she may very well shoot one of them. It will, of course, be awhile before they make it back to the island. But now that there's a Jin/Sun reunion in the works, you can bet they'll be together by the end of the season. It'll be Rose and Bernard all over again. Besides, they can't just keep time jumping together
And I can I just say, how sleazy would you have to be to be Ben LInus's lawyer? My joke is that with all the time travel inherent in the show, it may well end with Flight 815 landing safely in LA. Ha!
Got into my first argument over at The Haunt. Some bimbo was posting about how mean and unprofessional Stephen King is for saying he doesn't like Stephanie Meyer and doesn't think she can write worth a damn. I said C'mon, how could you really expect Stephen King to be down with sparkly vampires that walk around in the daylight and fall in love with teenage girls they don't bite or sleep with? I don't see how it can be unprofessional for one author to have opinions on other authors. If somebody asks in an interview, I would certainly not expect him to lie. The bimbo ended by saying "who is he to decide who's good and who isn't". And I'm like Yeah, he's the best selling horror author in the history of literature. Of course "best selling" isn't the same as "best" but I think most people can agree that Stephen King has produced some truly exceptional work.
