At long last...
You will all be happy to learn that I have finally sent out the pre-ordered copies of The Cat's Apprentice. Well, maybe not ALL of you will be happy to learn it, since only a handful of you actually pre-ordered the thing. But they are in the mail, and will be on their way to you's that bought them, after the silly holiday tomorrow.
And yes, Columbus Day is the silliest, stupidest, most lie-filled holiday ever.
Don't believe me? Think of another one and I'll tell you why you're wrong.
;-] Hahahahahahahaa!
So far, Diary of the Dead has terrible dialogue, horrible acting, and a predictable plot. Only the drunk professor is even slightly interesting, if a stereotype to the nth degree. I do enjoy seeing zombies get run over by big cars though. I was watching it on the iPod so I only got to see the first half an hour of it. My love of Romero will compel me to finish it at some point.
Speaking of things that aren't very good: I started reading Angels and Demons by grown-up fairy tale teller Dan Brown. It begins almost exactly like DaVinci Code, with Langdon getting woke up in the middle of the night to solve something after someone else is brutalized. So far, I give it a resounding "meh." I don't think I'm going to bother reading it after all. I'd rather finish Watchmen, which is rocking my socks with it's goodness.
Having the usual peeps over for cartoons tonight. I'm making a strawberry shortcake since they had organic strawberries at the store. I only have chocolate cool whip though, so I hope that will do. Last Sunday's Family Guy was hilarious. Do you, or do you not...know about The Bird?. Like Peter, I long to live in a world where everybody knows that The Bird is the word.

I confess, I've never heard of it. I was thinking mainly of national holidays.
Thanks man, was there any resolution on that other thing? Or did you have to kick a bitch's ass?

And the DaVinci Code movie is one of the worst I've ever seen. I laughed at it.
