Now I have to shut my whine hole...

Last week, H left his iPod in a cab. We were both very bummed, especially since we need it for the wedding reception music. H'ed had that iPod for quite some time, a 4gb mini that is pink.

So a few days later after calling the cab stand a few times, he gave up and ordered a new one. It's one of those cool video ones that is so small you could put it in your wallet. Myself, I think it's too small. But H likes it a lot, and we were trying to figure out how to get my music on it in time for the wedding. We thought I'd need to update my OS or plug my hard drive into H's computer since my music is on a separate one.

Well...we get in the cab today to go to the grocery store and H asks the driver if he's seen his iPod. And guess what? He had it. So he gave it back to us and we gave him $20. So now H has a new iPod and I have his old one. And I can use it on my computer just how it is. It's pretty slow, and prefers USB 2 to what I have, but it's all good. So now I have my own iPod, at long last.

Wheeee!

That result is mainly because I don't run very fast, and would hole up in a Walmart.

Honore is loving ROME on DVD. Yay again.

And finally, Sierra Mist with Cranberry Splash is damn tasty!

that is awesome about the ipod! it's strange to meet honest people (even though the guy was probably more guilty than honest ;)

The yellow cab drivers around here are good guys. One of them stole my dugout once, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. ;-/

ipod envy

I had wanted an ipod for a while until I got this cell in April and tweaked it. I've got 100+ songs and ripped about 10 of my dvds onto it. I still want an ipod eventually though.

Ten DVD's? Nice.

Mine is not a video model, it's older than that. But it does have a wicked version of "break out" which it calls "brick".

Last August, I left a fairly expensive digital camera (that I'd had for less than a month) sitting on a ticket dispenser in the lobby of a parking garage. This was about half a block from Poe's grave in downtown Baltimore, not the best location in the world. Much to my surprise, the lady working security had found the camera and turned it in to her supervisor.

Goes to show you never can tell.

That's pretty cool.

There's still plenty of good people in the world.
