Since I'm back to work, I've been buying new threads. In fact, I'm replenishing my entire dress supply. I also ordered some henley's for winter, so that will be nice. It's pretty cool to be able to buy clothes again since I've gone for basically three years without new clothes.

Speaking of work, I'm off to there in a few minutes. Closing tonight and then working again tomorrow from 11-4. Then I get a day and a half for the "weekend". I shouldn't complain, because it's a pretty sweet gig. There was an employee bake-off this week. I didn't enter, but I ate some great desserts.

Oh hey, for you local types, my bridal shower is September 9th, which is a Sunday.
I think it starts at 3pm, I'm not actually planning it.
We're doing the toilet paper wedding dress thing, so that'll be a riot.
What else should we do?

This wedding thing is coming up totally soon. I feel very unready, especially since a lot of details have not been done, and I'm still waiting for a bunch of stuff to arrive in the mail and from various people who are doing stuff for me. I'm pretty stressed out, actually. What are good ways to chill out and relax that don't involve pot? I wonder...I should probably meditate more.

also, I think everything will work out for your wedding...I had a friend who put hers together in less time than you've already been working on it, and it went pretty well...I trust that yours will too...you still have some time...I'm sure with working and everything it doesn't seem like much, but there's still a good chunk to work with...

If it helps, I have a suggestion to assist you with the upcoming wedding. Make a list, not just a list of all the stuff that needs to yet be done, but a list from start to finish of everything and everyone that needs to happen on that special day. They gave us one of these lists during our wedding and since then we have implemented it in our video studio here. Basically you see the entire wedding in your head and fill in all the blanks.

Music starts: what music?
Musicians, PA, Who is in charge of this:
Who enters first, second third:
Who has the rings before the wedding:
Who carries the rings:
Ceremony will have these individual parts:
Exit order:
Music:
Photos (include list of pics you know you will want)

You get the idea, see the entire thing and make notes for everything, so you don't forget or let something slip through the cracks. It'll be a long and stressful list, but it's a bunch of small things that can easily be assigned to friends.

Thanks man. I have been going pretty list crazy with all the wedding stuff. I think ultimately it will help.

I just want the big day to be here so I can stop stressing about it.

If you need help let me know. I'm not a fan of shower games and we only did one. It was story you read and passed around. My theme was gnomes and faeries so it had to do with Gnomes.

That sounds fun. I don't really know what kind of stuff they have planned aside from the TP wedding dress thing. I guess there will also be prizes and yummy food.
