Ultra Violent Horror

I'm trying yet again to watch SAW III, which I've tried to watch once before and couldn't deal with the brutality. It's pretty good though, plenty of life lessons and hands dipped in acid and all. It may be that I'm losing my taste for this type of horror; or it may be that this particular movie isn't as good as say, Hostel. Being behind on my movie watching I haven't seen Hostel part II. I guess I'll find out for sure whether my love of ultra violence is true...as soon as Rob Zombie's Halloween comes out.

Put up two new chapters of my serial killer story over at [livejournal.com profile] wednes_writes. I may not be able to to the JulNoWriMo after all since I'm getting such a huge head start. I'll have to check the rules about WIP's and all that. The new chaps are pretty good. I think it's really starting to build some suspense.

Isn't this hilarious? And scary? I guess I'm glad I don't live in Florida.

If I happened to see that on my porch I'd scream so loud you wouldn't believe it. I'm not a screamer either.

OMG.

Here in So. California I never even check outside first, just barge right out the door, maybe even with my nose in a book 'cause I want to walk around my yard while reading. Maybe even in bare feet.

Gawd ... do they let their kids play in the yard in Florida? I wonder if any little kids have been attacked by gators in their yards? And what about pets? :SHIVERS::

As far as I know, attacks on children are rare. Pets, OTOH, are in constant danger.

This one is what they'd call a nuissance gator (although they probably spell it correctly). So fish and game guys will come take it away.
