It's still June 13th, so off I go!
Time to Blog like it's the end of the world:
We can hear them outside. H is with me since he finally decided to stop going to work. I kept telling him nobody needed business documents anymore, but he insisted that they might. The power comes on a few hours a day now, and the internet comes on occasionally. I can't believe people are still blogging. But then again, what else would they do?
We're running out of water, and I keep telling H that there aren't enough supplies for three of us. He insisted that we keep C alive since she gave up the upstairs apartment willingly. I just don't know what we're going to do...
I think there are people in the next building over, but they don't have any interest in communicating with us. It feels like every man for himself anymore, which is probably the best we could have hoped for. At least no one is looting or robbing just yet. We will have to do some scavenging soon as food is running low and we have almost no first aid gear to speak of. It's long past time for us to get survivalist gear together. H never thought this could happen. I hate being right all the time...
Nice to have the internet up once in awhile, if only to hear the increasingly bad news. We thought someone would come from the air force base to get us, but no new blogs have come from them in days. I guess we're on our own now. Damn.

PS thanks for the manuscript. I can't read it until after I finish my book club book, or after I go to the book club on Monday (whichever comes first).

Remember my neighbor that sent me an anonymous note about my cats? That's her.
