Handfasting and the House of Chickens
H has been gone all day, so we didn't get our shopping done. No big whoop since I don't exactly love grocery shopping, I just like to get it over with. He was out doing errands, one of which was picking up the Jedi tunics for he and his sister to wear for the wedding. I must tell you that H looks pretty damn hot in his. Hot, I tells ya! He's just glad he doesn't have to wear a suit. Of course he would not let me take a pic to share with you all.
Since we didn't go shopping, there's no food in the house. As such, we're going to try a new chicken delivery place called, interestingly enough, Chicken House. Let's hope their cuisine is more imaginative than their title. Then again, simple and to the point can also be quite nice. I think I'm going to get fish and chips, which besides the humble cheeseburger is one of my favorite restaurant foods.
I got this cool pendant to wear with my wedding dress. It's blue and silver with a big W for Wednes on it. I like it so much that I've just been wearing it around. I accidentally found out it's fine to wear in the shower too. You ladies who are helping out with the wedding will be damn happy with your pressies. They are quite beautiful.
The only things I really need to find for the whole handfasting thing are some pearls for me to wear with my dress, and some kind of musician to play before/during the ceremony. I can't imagine that someone, maybe H's Mom even, could loan me some pearls. I think that's one of the things you're supposed to borrow anyway. Who knows, I might just splurge and get some nice, black, freshwater pearls.
I can't believe how much trouble I'm having finding someone to play for half a freakin' hour. Maybe if my dulcimer lesson goes well, I'll just come out and play myself. I'm not one for big entrances anyway.
Random Wednes fact for the day: I'm using a Harry Potter lunchbox instead of a purse right now. It's pretty cute.

I'm kind of waiting to see if H's Mom is going to loan me something to wear. I don't know what her plans are for that, and I would want to wear whatever she offers me.
At the same time, she hasn't offered me anything yet.
