Ayudame!!!

Hey kids,

The time has come for me to have a website...some kind of WednesdayLeeFriday.com sort of thing.

How do I get that?
How much does it cost?
Can it be free?

Who, oh who, will design it for me?
Some of you must do this type of thing for a reasonable price.
Or knows someone who does...

Talk to me!

In other news, I'm recording some short stories for podcast instead of my novel at present. That will be good practice until I figure out how novel rights are going to work.
[livejournal.com profile] skryche, (or any other males with a great voice) if you still want to do volunteer voice work for me, do let me know.

You can get a domain for around $7 a year from godaddy.com

You can use a free server for the actual site and if you can work with html at least a little bit you can create yourself a nice little starter page.

I started out that way and even used the free 'short urls' I found. That's why I've been using http://katt.onlyhere.net for so long. I only recently bought my own domain.

The guy that made the graphics for my site can be reached at http://differencemedia.nl/ He speaks perfect english and is very nice. His prices are pretty reasonable and very professional. Usually between 100 - 250. He can probably set you up with a server address as well so you won't have to have extra banners/pop ups the free servers require.

I'm sure you'd be blown away by whatever he makes for you. He sure did me.

You're welcome. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I know a lot about getting things either free or cheap. :D

Thanks!

I'm just hoping I can pull some money together to make this happen. Until then, anyone who googles me get's either my LJ or my Amazon wish list.

Lol.. well, your LJ page looks pretty good so you must know some html even if its basic. Go ahead and set up a page on a free server somewhere and submit the page to google and yahoo search engines. You can always move the site later and put up a link to the new site.
