In other news, South Park finally managed to offend me this evening without so much as a talking hunk of poo.
LOST was wonderful, and of course, terribly sad. It's won its way back into my heart. Good for you, LOST. I saw a hilarious LOST icon, BTW. It said, "If Jack is crying, it must be Wednesday." Funny, when I first saw Juliette, I thought she was Jacks wife. It was swell to see Hurley again, although I'm not in the mood for any new characters...especially when you keep killing them off with the thing that took the pilot. ;-]
However, nothing on tonights TV was nearly as compelling as Stephen Colbert singing with Barry Manilow. That was totally dreamy.

Tweaked my layout again. I don't want to disable pics, but some of you insist on posting shit that's just too whomping huge. And while my computer is a little slow (more a commentary on my patience level than on the machine itself) it's not small, so what gives? Just keep in mind that some people have laptops, K? Anyway, I like the layouts with the line calender at the top. Nice. And of course, the bubbles are back!
Went to Group even though I hate it. EMDR tomorrow and seeing the med doc. Whoopidy Doo.
Oh, and I'm having a birthday gathering on November 25th.
That will be the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We're expecting some special, out of town guests.

I missed South Park on accident but I totally agree on Lost. I maybe almost cried at the end and only didn't because Allison was standing on the other side of the room demanding the History of Eko in as few words as possible. However, I did not notice any sort of resemblance between Juliette and Jack's wife, and I still can't really remember what Jack's wife looks like so maybe that's why. And I'm glad we got to actually see that the Black Smoke does something other than have staring contests and drift around all noisily. And the new characters are already irritating as what. Blah.
And I also nearly fell out of my chair with the whole singing with Barry Manilow thing. And yeah, John Oliver.
So basically: I agree with you. Permanently, apparently. hahaha.

I used to avoid pink as a kid because people were always pushing girly crap on me. I am glad to be reclaiming it after testing the waters with a few pink dresses.

I'm surprised you were offended by South Park. I was appropriately repulsed at that moment. Mr(s). Garrison isn't really supposed to be a sympathetic character is (s)he? I guess I felt the joke was supposed to be mans obsession with breasts, ANY breasts. But anyway...
I don't particularly care for John Oliver. His delivery tends to come off as fake for me, I don't care for Rob Riggle either. I really like Aasif Mandvi though. I wish they had him on more.

Oliver does have that pompous British wit but I still find him nerdy and delightful.
I guess maybe offended is the wrong word. Horrified might be more appropriate. I mean, I'm still gonna record the replay, but still...
Ryan speculated the same thing as you in re: LOST. (I did put that under a cut, BTW) But I think they did a swell job of keeping to their formula while giving us just enough information to keep us interested. They tend to rule things out rather than telling you things, but I really enjoyed last night's ep.
