How Strange, and How Untypical of Me...

You went trick or treating as SamBeckett.
Hurley gave you AnApolloBar.
Rorschach gave you ABottleofPeptoBismol.
KettleChips gave you ABrick.
TheOneRing gave you AShrunkenHead.
You had a circular time until ChiefTyrol blew up the Hatch.

What's Your Trick-or-Treat Haul?

I did not dress up this year. I didn't have one single occasion where such a thing would have been appropriate. No job, no party, not even the passing out of candy because kids don't go door to door in apartments. Sad, really--especially since my makeup kit was so damn expensive. Nonetheless, I loves the scary.

Today H and I are going to the mall to look @ engagment rings and find out our respective ring sizes. I've had my eye on this ring with some tiny diamonds around a giant black pearl. It looks like a sorcerers ring, and I'm wild for it. But like everything else in the world, it's pretty expensive. Macy's had it on sale but I think we missed it.

[livejournal.com profile] uterdic, I'm shocked that you didn't comment on H's Jedi tunic.
I'm just saying...
;-]

And finally, could everyone in the world please stop mispronouncing Samhain?
Say it with me kids: SOW-en. It's not an English word. Thank You!

Nope, it's OW like Sowing the Seeds of Love--but without the 80's beat.

and that would be why I asked. I'd hate to make it sound like the holiday for female piggies :)

LOL

Actually, I think people go both ways *snerk* with the pronounciation. You could probably get away with either, as long as you don't say "sam HAYN".
