Somthing has occurred to me this week in regard to my writing. I used to crave success as a way to "stick it to" people from my past who put me down or made me feel sad. But you know how they say Living well is the best rvenge? I think it's true. Because my life makes me pretty happy these days and I have almost no desire to shove my happiness in the faces of any fucktards from my past. I'm pretty happy just producing new work that I like. Of course I will keep trying to get published; but not to prove to anyone that I'm good...just because everyone who reads my first novel seems to like it. And I'd like for more people to read it and like it, and maybe get something from it.

And yes, "fucktard" is my new word-I'm-running-into-the-ground. I hope no one is offended at the profanity. But somehow I think if you were offended by that, you wouldn't actually be on my flist.

chaodai. He posts lots of cool little movies about stuff, and once I get a new computer, I'll be able to watch them. I'm told that the "what is the monster" vid is hilarious. Speaking of LOST, here is a horrible article by some idiot who does not appear to even watch the show. Aparently the biggest mystery on all of LOST is Why is Hurley still fat? Not, what happens when you don't punch in the numbers...not Where is Desmond now? Nothing to do with Walt or The Others, or where the hell did that horse come from? No...why is Hurley still fat is the biggest of all mysteries. If that really were the biggest mystery, LOST would surely suck.

I only complain about people like Paul, who I hear from far too infrequently because he doesn't post or read.

I too feel this way, despite all the "fucktards" in my life, and I too have had MANY! I think the, "Fucktards" kryptonite is just ignoring them. "Fucktards" are like gravity, they only matter when they are holding something down.

Duh...the same reason why everyone is fat. he sits on his rotund ass eating bon bons (or whatever the island equivalent is) and not excersizing. That's why he set up a driving green for everyone, because he hates excersize!!

In all seriousness, the writers wanted to write him a thing where he loses a whole bunch of weight in the course of the first season. And Jorge Garcia (Hurley) was like "Um...no, we're not gonna be doing that."

Can I just say how often I think about how happy I am for you and all that you've accomplished with your self in the time that I've known you? Nevermind, I'm gonna anyway. It seems like it's been so long, yet it hasen't - but so much has changed. Yay for progress!

It's kind of funny. When the Stone first closed, I was going to use that time to find a really good job, which I assumed would help me turn over a new leaf. But I never found a good job and instead ended up with a lot of disappointment and down time. Then it seems like the next thing I know, I had written a novel and was trying to publish it; I was actually making progress in therapy and helped me figure things out in practically every area of life. and then H and I decided to gt married, and now we're talking about whether w want to buy a condo, co-op or a house. Could you even imagine me living in my own house.

That would be so rad.

Living well is the best revenge... but what they don't tell you is that once you're living well you won't care so much about the revenge. (On the plus side, though -- when those you originally wanted revenge on see that you're so happy that you don't care about pissing them off, it'll infuriate them!)

Re Hurley -- it's a big mystery because it's never mentioned... whereas all those other things are talked about all the time.

I was only scheduled to receive All About George, which I have received but not yet watched. Until I saw the title, I was all "Who do I know in Michigan who's sending me DVDs in the mail?"

I have Doctor Who on the brain because we watched several eps and are waiting anxiously for more to arrive. But yeah, the Rik Mayall show...I love that guy!

I thought about sending them disguised as hardcore XXX porn, but I thought they'd have a greatr chance of getting stolen if I did that. ;-}
