DVD and me.
Hoo ha! I think I've finally got the hang of this DVD recording business with my fancy-pants DVD recorder. Yesterday I did a marathon viewing of ROME and recorded the whole first season onto just 2 discs. Plus I had room for a bunch of extras.
Then, when I worked on my finally full disc of cartoons, I fugred out how to divide all the Family Guy eps from the American Dad eps. I put relevant pictures in the menus for each show. But weirdly, when I tried to finalize the disc, the menu option for it didn't come up. Anyway, the discs look great and I have a whole bunch of them now. I got these cool cases that are extra slim and hold two discs. They are bad ass. I do need a couple of new sharpies...one black and one silver.
In crazy news, did anyone else see the big, 5 foot high snow bong on Packard near Stadium? Oh man, I laughed out loud when I saw it. It's very well done and I hope someone has taken some good pictures of it.
In crazier news, something right actually happens in Washington DC. I guess we can all breathe a little easier knowing that we can't be held indefinately without a lawyer or being charged. If our government can just admit that torture--ALL torture is wrong, I'd feel a lot more relaxed about people I know who are in the service. I guess I'd just prefer that out people not be tortured in retaliation for a bunch of old men who don't give a shit about anything but fake PR, money and keeping us dependent on oil. < / rant > Sorry.
