Well, I wanted to be about 2K words ahead of where I am right now. But this is certainly nothing to sneeze at. And if I get some more done before I go to bed tonight, I'll be much closer to meeting my real goal.
The sixth chapter is really scary and good, I think. It's the first really scary thing that happens. the next chapter is the last of the seven introductory character chapters. Now with this next round, I have to make them do all the stuff they're going to do to advance the plot. Then I put them all in extreme peril, then I resolve everything one way or another. So even though there are 4 sets of seven chapters, people will be corssing paths a whole bunch. Neat, eh? Yeah...I thought it was clever also.

As it stands, I'm going to break for dinner and TV. I beleive it is a new L&O SVU tonight, which I will, of course, watch. And then Daily Show and Colbert Report. Then back to work unless H wants to play some more Silent Hill which is totally creeping me out.

So far, I like it very much. I have a lot of ideas and am pretty well plotted out the rest of the way. Just a few variables to think about. It's a pretty compelling story, IMHO, and it's just starting to get scary.

You should have watched Boston Legal. Denny Crane was ordered to represent a defendant who couldn't pay. A guy accused of raping and murdering a 13yo girl. He tried several things to get out of it, when none of them worked he shot the knee caps off they guy. A little implausible, they wouldn't let anyone in to a courthouse these days with a firearm. But it was hilarious.

I will probably end up buying the Boston Legal season eventually. I am well aware how great the show is. But if I don't watch SVU I'll almost certainly get spoiled online.

Ha. I usually put on a sizeable sugar buzz. My current drug of choice is cheery cheesecake ice cream with hot fudge sauce. That's the best way to stay up writing all night...so far anyway.
