Maybe we need to redefine exactly what you mean by "No Flights and No Tights"

Because Clark (oh excuse me, I mean Kal-El...Kal El of the Krypton El's; I have to clarify that since there's more than one now...damn you Nick Coppola!!) has been flying all over the damn place on that there "Smallville". Seriously, this is like, the 3rd or 4th time he has flown. Next they'll be telling us that those tight fitting blue things on his legs are not tights, they are "leggings".

Plus, after watching Superman II as a kid, and then later as an adult, I was inclined to think that Lois Lane was his um..."first". Not so. That being the case, I'm not clear how Lana can be Clarks "unrequited high-school crush" when they have, in fact, done the deed. In fact, what's with all the pre-marital sex on a show skewed to high schoolers anyway? 90210 didn't have all this crazy sex in it. First, Chloe knocks boots with Jimmy Olsen...you've got Lex screwing and sending earrings to any brunette that moves, and now Cornfed Clark Kent converting his little barn-space into a Fortress of Humpitude. Great Ceasar's Ghost!!

That said, I'm not really so surprised to learn that Aqualad, like nearly everything else in Smallville, is some kind of Luthorcorp experiment gone wrong. At least it's lucky that all the meteor mutants space themselves out so Clark and Chloe only have to defeat one each week. You'd think with all those meteor crazies out there, there's be at least some overlap. Oh, well.

As for me, I'm having the girls from group over tonight for a movie. We'll be making tiny treats in the Queasy Bake Cookerator. We have some of the gross mixes, and some of the nice ones. In any event, I'm sure we'll have better luck than this guy. Even though I haven't done it in awhile (I had the old-school girl oven as a kid) I'm rather an old hand at this.

Oh, and this has been running through my mind all afternoon
Let's see who knows what movie this hilarious quote is from:

Guy 1: "That's because Lance Hunt IS Captain Amazing."

(groans of derision, 'don't start that again' etc)

Guy 2: "Captain Amazing does NOT wear glasses"

G1 "That's because he takes them off when he transforms"

G2: "That's ridiculous, he wouldn't be able to SEE!!"

The glasses idea would have been genius

yes, I know. That's because I thought of it. :)

You know... Everyone hates Aquaman, right?

Everyone...

Even your cats...

I like Aquaman. I don't care what my cats say. My fish like him too.

Stereotypically, gay men LOVE Aquaman.

Sometimes I have to be a guy.

Whoa, did I just cross post this to a frat house?

I also forgot to say that they might have had time for the Phantom Zone to break had they not set aside time for that horrible looking FOG trailer.

I don't LOVE him, I just like the classic DC characters. Anyone from Superfriends ould show up and I'd be pumped.

I ... see. Have I mentioned I loathe Cher? And tolerate karaoke only for purposes that have little-if-anything to do with karaoke? And almost never go to plays?

What I'm saying, obviously, is that I'm in love with _you._

Well, I did preface that with the word "stereotypically". I know you're not calling me out though, because you were clear in my poll that you never call anyone out on such matters.

Do let me know when you want to stop by for some freaky wild sex a movie, for I love you as well.
