Maybe he was thinking "Dorsal fin."
Or maybe "teeth"
Or possibly " need to breathe"

or "gulp."

or maybe his head just didn't want to think about what was happening and he left his mind for a minute.

I would hope for an OBE at such a time.

I think once you realize a shark is attacking you, you'd probably be pretty sure you were going to die. Whatever happened after that realization is bound to pleasantly surprise you.

Irrational fear of shark attacks is what has kept me out of the ocean for the past 25 years.

I live in Washington state. I can pretty much bet I won't get attacked by a great white here, but have you ever seen a wolf eel, which we DO have here.

I would pee my pants and hope for a quick death.

Whoa.

Do those eels always look pissed off like that?

yeah, and they have two sets (upper and lower) of needle teeth that kind of overlap outside their mouth and make them look like they wanna go for your throat.

I saw this quote in CrazyPills' journal:

You must keep sending work out; you must never let a manuscript do nothing but eat its head off in a drawer. You send that work out again and again, while you're working on another one. If you have talent, you will receive some measure of success - but only if you persist.
