moves out. Anyway, he has this really sweet Kensington track ball that works great, never gets sticky or dusty, and has a great hand feel. The problem? The fucking thing costs almost $100. For a trackball! I for one am outraged!
Now I ask you, is this what I can expect from the world of computer ownership--that I will constantly want expensive things for it, and that getting a cheaper alternative will slowly but surely drive me insane? I don't mean regular computers of course, I mean Macs.

For example, top of the line Mac and it's PC equivalent: PC is $1500 more, and it's not as fast as the Mac.
Second, I am kind of the exact opposite of wealthy.
