My mother is a blithering idiot, and she can do it.

The most evil witch I have ever met can crochet like nobody's business.

This books is written in language a 4th grader could understand, and is fully illustrated.





So why is my yarn just a big, long knot???

There's a million other things you're good at! Everyone in my family crochets but me - that's interesting. At least on my dad's side. Maybe I'll try it sometime and find out why you're having such a hard time of it - probably because it's not as easy as it looks?

No, it isn't. But yarn things have always eluded me. I tried to do a hook rug for months and eventually gave up.

I know what you mean, I cannot knit or crochet to save my life. I have realized that my medium is fabric and I keep all the yarn for doll hair!

Also, I thought the book was a little confusing, and the illistrations were poor representations of a 3D image. But I already knew how from when I was a kid when I bought the book.
