The Majority of Minority Report:

I think by now I have waited too long to do an excellent review of Minority Report. Plus, I imagine that many of you have seen it by this point. But since I don't want to be responsible for Man_Bites_Dog and his basket weaving, I will sum up.

Minority Report was another action packed Tom Cruise joint. It also had Colin Farrel, Max Von Sydow, Samantha Morton, and that guy from the Practice I like, Steve Harris. It is directed by Senor Speilbergo and based on a short story by Philip K Dick.

Without giving away an major plot points, See This Film. There is a crazy, gruesome opening murder scene, and much action and suspense throughout. It's set in the future, which of course gives us the chance to see yet another interpretation of futuristic gadgets, products, and singing cereal boxes. And the cars, Roninesque crazy car scenes done in video-game style.

Surprisingly, there are lots of laughs. There is stuff that will shock you, make you mad...the whole bit. I heard that the ending was sappy and sucky. I dont' agree. No spoilers this time folks, leave your small children with the sitter and go see this film, if for no other reason than I said so.

Thanks, wednes

Ok. I was waffling (mmmm, waffles) on whether or not to see it because Philip K. Dick would be my only impetus. Well, and The Future.

But now I will see it!

Tomorrow afternoon! (I've never been so excited to go back to Ann Arbor.)

But I will make a bigger splash on A2 the weekend of the 27th & 28th. Look for flashing lights.
