I knew it all along...I'm just TOO NICE!

You are Dumbledore! People like you because you are
nice, easygoing and fair. However, sometimes
your outgoing personality can be a curse.
People may sometimes take advantage of you, so
you might want to let your anger get to you in
certain scenarios.

Had a rather productive day today, (thanks, P) and got a bunch of anacharis for my frogs. They have colossal algae problem in there. I also got a new yellow snail which will have a name as soon as H comes home and gives him one. (H named my brown snail "The Flash", but sadly, the flash is no longer with us). Everyone in the tank seems well, 3 frogs, 1 newt, 2 large snails and countless tiny ones. It's all good...I also did several other mundane but important errands.

I also spent some QT with Jazz, which I hadn't done in awhile. I am also trying to learn American Sign Language to better meet the needs of our customers (okay, its just for me...). The only thing about that is, its really hard to learn. So I might have to get s tutorial video or something. Anyone know any good ones?

Oh, and if you're looking for me this weekend, I'll be at work having an excellent time catching up with everyone. First day back from vacation is fun even if the vacation was from sanity
...or maybe I'm just making that up.

My (now ex-) boyfriend took an ASL class in college, but I can't remember what book they used. After scouring the class schedule and Amazon.com, I came across the following books/videos that seem to be the kind I would buy if I were looking to buy some:

American Sign Language the Easy Way

The American Sign Language Phrase Book

A Basic Course in American Sign Language

Intermediate Conversational Sign Language

Sign Language Crash Course I: For Beginning Signers (includes video)

Sign Language Crash Course II (also with video)

Instant Immersion American Sign Language Deluxe (CD-ROM)

I tried to pick ones that taught American Sign Language, because it's a language in its own right (as opposed to "signed English").
