wednes | So, Monday...we meet again!

You may have noticed that I'm still here at LJ despite my rather dramatic announcement from last week. You may suspect that because LJ reversed it's choice to allow sharing of our locked posts, that perhaps I would just go ahead and stay. This is emphatically NOT the case. I fully intend to make the move over to Dreamwidth. They have some cool features and do not appear to be dickheads. So that will be good. My weekend was filled with fun and productivity, so I simply did not have time to do it.

Friday night

custardfairy drove me to a party at

sarahmichigan's place. We watched a terrible "scary" movie, and there was food, wine, and hilarious and stimulating conversation. I totally have a girl-crush on a chick I met there.

Saturday night I finally mixed my new podcast ep. The day-job has been kicking my ass and I haven't had as much time to do my real work.

absinthofheart took me out for a feast at Red Lobster--which is her fave chain restaurant. I had an amaretto sour, and many, many shrimps. Then back to my place for Lips on the Xbox. Once in a while, *I* get to be the loud, annoying neighbor. ;-]

My website hits are way, way down. Having to switch to every-other-week is hurting me much more than I thought it would. I am bummed, but as my main actor for KMLYLM simply cannot get me chapters every other week, this was really the only solution. Once again, fame eludes me and I'm feeling far too impatient to wait for it.

I have one week left to finish watching Season 5 of Criminal Minds. I want very much to be caught up by the Season 6 premiere on the 22nd. I have ten episodes left, and they are all on my iPod. *insert profound and relevant quote here*

I have resigned myself to entering season six un-caught-up. I did at least see the season finale for 5 (*shiver*), and obviously, all the Reaper episodes. I figure that's good enough until I get my hands on DVDs.

The ep directed by our dear Mr Gubler is fantastic. "Mosely Lane" it's called, and is easily the most terrifying non-Reaper ep of the season (so far anyway).

Yeah, I keep watching for that one on the A&E/ION CM Express. :) I think I'm just going to have to give up and go back to Netflix, as my local library has a queue about 7 deep for any of the season dvd sets.

Perhaps it's time to acquaint yourself with the wonderful world of torrents? ;-]

Alas, I managed to download a handful of episodes for a project I'm working on, but my net connection right now is through my cellphone, and large downloads kill the battery faster than the computer can charge it. :(

The other thing with LJ is that they said they would make the change but they're not going to for a couple weeks yet. Oh, and LJ staffers have been trolling and then deleting their comments (including in flocked posts!). I'm seriously considering just deleting my journal over here.

I heard that they were hassling people in the comments and stuff...WTF?! They're acting as if it's NOT a huge and intentional breach of privacy and common fucking decency ("decency" not being a word I bust out very often) to share our private shit with TWEETERS.

Yeah, and apparently, one of their admins broke into an LJer's flocked post to leave a creepy message. More on that and all the brouhaha here.

What's this with lj sharing our locked posts? Does this mean strangersw ill get to read them? Not sure I like the sound of that!

How does one find you on Dreamwidth? (I rarely troll other bloging places)

Hopefully I'll be "Wednes" over there too. If not, then "WednesFri."

I haven't done it yet, but I'll get on it sometime this week.
