Still no word from the chick at the Vampire Ball. I have to give The Publisher three weeks notice minimum if I want to get books printed in time. Plus I need for H to design me all new swag (although in truth I could just do a postcard with the new book cover on it once I get it--which will be soon according to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
flemco). Anyway, I'm trying to imagine what sort of tragedy must be befalling this event that she still hasn't responded to an Email I sent on the 1st of September. Mind you, I'm not complaining, not really. I'm just sort of stressed over it because I really want to get in on this event and I feel like The Fates are thwarting me. I'm not really in a being-thwarted kind of mood. So, dang and fie! Because I'm out of ideas.
I'm open to suggestions from you networking, self-promoting types.
I've sent two Emails, over a week ago. Is it okay to send another? Should I assume they just don't want me? Is that typical? Do people sometimes just not bother replying?
