LOST remains one of the greatest shows in the history of television...maybe.
It all depends on how they end this thing.



Of course as soon as "LaFleur" tells us he is over Kate, we know that we will see her. That Juliet can't seem to catch a break with the fellas, can she? It was nice to see Sawyer genuinely happy for once.

We did not see John Locke or Ben Linus this week. I'm cool with that, just because they gave us so much to think about last week. It should be interesting to see what happens with the Dharma Initiative, and whether or not they all end up getting wiped out by Alpert and Ben, or if "LaFleur" can stop it--if he even knows it's coming. Now I don't remember...

Of course there's no telling what will happen now that the 6 are back on the island (or is it 7 with Ben?) We've only seen Sayid, Hurley, Jack and Kate, though I guess it's safe to assume Sun is there as well, with Locke, I guess that's 6 and 7 with Ben. I don't really think Ben was supposed to go back though, which is probably why he was injured.

Speaking of Ben, I have to wonder why he let Kate et al leave in the first place. I mean, I know they had an agreement but that doesn't necessarily mean much to Ben. I still think he's the good guy, though it's been pointed out that it would be quite nutty if Widmore turned out to be the good guy all along. I doubt it though, he was mean to Desmond. :-[

But why do we have to wait 2 weeks? What's going on next Wednesday?

I have a 6-hour shift tomorrow, then I'm off until next Wednesday. Woot! I'm taking a little mini vacation with absinthofheart and nate101000 so I can write. When I get back, H and I are gonna go see Watchmen. It has been getting good reviews thusfar, but I'm still really worried that it will suck. I'm already more interested in the DVD extras, which I'll probably have to wait 'till Christmas for.

I assumed Sun was with Frank, and that they were the "Pilot and woman" who took off with the outrigger canoe last week.

I still think Ben is the bad guy, though that doesn't necessarily mean he's on the wrong side, as it's not the same thing, IMHO. I think Ben is on the Island's side, and Widmore wants to exploit the island, but I think Widmore's motives and heart are in the right place and Ben's are rotten through and through.

I wish someone would shoot him in the head, we have Locke, don't need Ben. Nothing that comes out of his mouth is ever the truth, and he clearly has no capacity for empathy beyond things that he considers an extension of himself. "What happens to all the other people?" "Who cares?"

Yeah...Ben def has some issues. I'm still rooting for him to be the good guy, though last week is making that more difficult. I just love to watch Ben, he's so awesomely vile.

I agree that Sun is with Frank, looking for Jin presumably.

According to my Tivo, next Wednesday they are replaying this episode. I think they do that just to irk me.

Again, just to bug us. Because next Wed at 8:00 and 8:30 they are showing "Scrubs."
